G.E.M. staged her first concert at Hung Hom when she was just 19, breaking records among new-generation singers

Making her debut at 16 in 2011, she staged three concerts at Hung Hom when she was just 19, making her the youngest female vocalist to do so.

Before she was 25, G.E.M. had put on more than 100 concerts, literally “getting everybody moving”, the mission of her Hung Hom concert series (“Get Everybody Moving”). And people were moving everywhere – in China, Hong Kong, greater Asia and North America, tickets were flying out of booths and into the hands of many eager fans. This kind of recognition for a singer trumps any sort of award. In addition, G.E.M. holds the record for the fastest viewership exceeding 100 million among Chinese vocalists on YouTube with her “LIGHT YEARS AWAY” music video.

G.E.M.’s many hits, including “Bubbles”, “Away”, and “Light Years Away”, alongside her excellent performance in the 2013 talent show Singer have seen her become a popular variety show guest. Audiences know she’ll bring the hits. In 2018, G.E.M. served as a mentor for The Rap of China, solidifying her presence in the hip hop world and connecting her with friends in the rap game.
